The Mazda MX5 in-tank fuel pump and fuel guage sender unit, which incorporates its own "swirl pot" to help reduce fuel starvation.  A clever design from the Mazda engineers that was worth incorporating into the new fuel tank.  The fuel gauge sender unit works but has been difficult to calibrate accurately as the float is too close to the tank baffles - another minor error!
