The nosecone required a lot of work along the edge where it meets the bonnet. Unfortunately the edge as supplied was very inconsistent, not straight, varied from round to flat and the depth was very irregular. To overcome this and provide a satisfactory bonnet line I applied a few layers of fibreglass along the edge and refinished the entire area. A lot of work but the only way to get a good fit with the bonnet.
