Top section of the engine bay under construction. The whole chassis is only tack welded together until it's completed, then the welding is progressively finished, taking care to keep the heat build up to a minimum. It's amazing how much distortion can occur if you are not careful. I did manage to ruin one section and have to redo it because I rushed the welding, but that was very early in the build and I quickly learnt my lesson.
