Two views of the fabricated transmission rear mount, which utilises a HQ Holden gearbox mount. This replaces the MX5 "alloy ladder frame" that originally mounted the transmission by joining the transmission and diff together. The alloy ladder frame would have required a wide transmission tunnel so this fabricated mount eliminated this problem.
