Bracing the engine bay

To improve the chassis's torsional rigidity, a brace was run from the firewall down to the lower outer rail on each side, next to the engine mounts.  In my opinion this added torsional strength to the engine bay.  Two further upper diagonal braces were later fitted from the firewall to the top outer rails once the position of the engine and accessories was finalised.
