I decided to weld my scuttle and dash mounting in place and utilise the structure to improve torsional rigidity to my longer than normal cabin area of the chassis. The original MX5 instrument cluster is near the centre of the dash and I plan to add a lockable storage compartment (glovebox) to the passenger side.
