An aluminium sheet was cut to form a dash.  Final fettling, bending and shaping provided a good basis for later refinishing.  UPDATE:  The vehicle was registered with the instrument cluster in the centre of the dash.  However, as seen in later photos it was moved to the conventional position behind the steering where the gauges were easier to view and there was no need to take your eye off the road.
