This Clubman was built by Graham Lewis, a retired engineer from Highton (Geelong). He has been very helpful to many new Locost builders (including me) and he is a gold mine of information on Clubman cars. He originally built this car in the 1970's and over time it became neglected and relegated to the backyard where it gradually rusted away until a few years ago when Graham decided to resurrect it. As it had been registered before, and he had the paperwork to prove it, he did not have to have it approved by an engineer. Graham has completey reconstructed the car with many new and fabricated components of his own design, including a new chassis and many performance and handling improvements.
